No binky Update.

I thought you all might be interested to know that last night went well without the Binky. She was pretty tired, so that might of helped the situation a little. Before bed she asked for it and we told her that she didn't have one anymore, that she had mailed them away to the kids who needed them. That she was a very big girl and that we were very proud of her. We told her that she just needed to hug Mike a little more tight, and that she was going to be just fine with out it. She did wake up a few times Bryan said.....I slept though it. She went back to sleep quickly though.

Now on today, she has yet to nap today, and It's getting late, so I don't think she will. That may help us tonight too. Cross your fingers It goes well again tonight.

Bye-Bye Binky.

Today is the big day....Not a great day for Amelia, but, a big day all the same. We (Bryan and I) decided it was time for Amelia to give up her Binky, she is just getting to old for it.

What we have decided to do is "send the binky's to kids that need them". (Really we are just going to toss them out, I will probably keep one for sentimental sake).

As you can see by the photos below we got an envelope, and mailed them away to the kids. Amelia thought it was a cool thing. Little does she know, she won't get the binky at bed or naps anymore. Poor girl, I'm sure it will be tough on her. (wish us luck please).

I documented the whole process in photos.

Envelope.
Binky's in the envelope.
Happy about the whole thing....little does she know, right?
Bye-Bye. In the mailbox.

Amelia Counts to Ten

Amelia is doing so great with Learning new things everyday! She can now count to Ten by herself and of course I think it's super cool. Take a peek at her video.

Our Sunday.

We didn't have a super busy weekend at all, which was very nice. Bryan had the weekend off and Saturday I went Wedding dress shopping with Jennifer. Just to let you all know, yes, she found her dress, and she looks BEAUTIFUL! I WILL NOT put it on here, for her privacy and also just in case Jason peeks on here.

Yesterday we realized that we needed diapers, so we all took a trip over to Meijer. I of course I brought the camera along for fun photos. Why not right?

Breakfast with her milk, I thought she looked cute
My hubby, I don't get a lot of photos of him, I thought he looked handsome here.
Amelia was playing with her glasses Uncle Jake gave her last summer, she thought she was pretty cool.
Norah was pretty tired, can't you tell.
Fish!

After we left the store we decided that we should stop over at my friend Judie's house. Grandma Judie as the girls call her. She was having a super bowl party and so we went over to see her. Plus she wanted to show off the girls to her friends. The next few pictures are from her house.

Norah woke up and smiled a bit.
Getting sleepy though.

This photo is what happens when the girl wants her Binky...but as we all know, she is to big for one. So, hence the tantrum.
**We do have some fun news to report. Norah walking much more. She is taking steps all the way across the living room now. Big girl! I will try to get a video of it today. **

Our Fun Day At Gracie's House.

We had a fun day yesterday. My good friend Sara is out of town, so I had the opportunity to watch Rhiley for the day. I thought it would be fun for us to get out of the house and do something different. I decided that we should drive up to Decatur to visit my family. We spent the day at my Brother and Sister-in-law Gracie's house. We just hung out, relaxed and had a great time. I had the chance to spend some time with my mom and Gracie and of course Maggie. Amelia, Rhiley and Norah had a fun time too. They all ended up napping while we were there too.

The girls found Maggies Toys and broke them in for her. Also, my mom brought Tinker Bell the movie for them to watch and we made Pop Corn of course. The girls barely watched the movie, but played and enjoyed the pop corn....especially Norah, she loved it!

I also had my camera along and thought it would be fun to take some pictures of Maggie while I was there. She wasn't that happy about it so we only were able to get a few, but I shot a few cute ones.

Here are a few photos that documented our day at Gracies house.

Living in Michigan, snow, snow and more snow.

Amelia, My Cookie Faced Girl.

I had Amelia along with me today when we did Heather's belly shots. I caught a few cute ones of her too, she had a mouth full of cookies, but she was still super cute.
