Where Have We Been? Updates.

Where have I been you ask? I have been busy with my girls and Bryan and just enjoying spending time with them. The weather here in Michigan is finally moving toward the positive end of the spectrum. FINALLY! We have been outside a lot, we started working at cleaning up the yard from the winter months. It really needs some help this year. Well, I suppose it does every year.

Amelia is just about Potty Trained. We still will stick a diaper or pull up on her when we go out shopping or to the gym, But she will still tell us if she has to go. We are now at the point that going potty at "new" toilets are SUPER fun! She does have her accidents here and there, but otherwise she is doing great! She gets a little messed up with the poo part and will not make it to the potty, but she does pretty well most of the time.

We are really understanding the phrase the Terrible two's . WOW, that's not fun! Amelia is a relativity good little girl, but now refuses to nap anymore. So with that being said, 3:00 pm to bedtime can be an all out war with her! She now does the fun, throwing herself on the ground, kick, scream, yell, cry, snotty nose, freak out fun thing! YIPPEE for us, right?! I know she is just tired and needs a nap, and since she is only two she can't relay her feelings to us and gets frustrated. But...UUUGGG!!! Not fun! Soon will pass right? What in 18 years?

Norah is walking, walking and just about running everywhere now days. It's so darn cute. She is such a stinker too...getting into everything, testing us and Amelia. She really is learning so much, trying to talk, but it's mostly mumbo-jumbo to us. She does get her point across to us though.

I have been busy now too. I photographed my first wedding this weekend with Cathy Dietz, what fun that was. She said she is happy with my work too....wow, what a relief that was. I was so nervous to really get her approval, and I was happy when she said I did a great job! I really can't wait for the next wedding. I have a great feeling of accomplishment now and feel pretty comfortable with the whole thing now. I loved every moment of it and had an absolute blast doing it!

I still have been busy with the camera around the house. I have a TON of pictures to share with you all! Here is a small selection that I have picked out.

Norah Playing around with her old hat.

We went to Grandma and Papas house one day, These are a few photos from that day. They are remodeling the kitchen, Bath and Laundry rooms. So we had to check it all out.

Date night.

Wednesday was Jennifer's Birthday. We decided that it would be fun to catch up with her and Jason for drinks on Saturday evening. We hadn't been able to get together with them in quite some time and it was past due. We always have so much fun with them. To top it off it was over due time for Bryan and I to get out on the town for a few hours. Some times, kicking back and relaxing with friends is just what the doctor recommends.

We had a fun evening, and it was just an evening. We met up with them around 3:30pm and Jenn and I went to check out a dress for her wedding. (one for me to wear). The guys went across the street for a drink and waited for us.

Once we were done with the dress stuff, we met back up with the boys. We had a very good Bloody Mary there and then headed over to Lawton to a little brewery called Old Hat. It's this cool little bar, good people, and pretty tasty beer. We had some finger food snacks there and a few beers. It was a fun evening chatting with Jenn and Jason and catching up with their lives...they are always doing something fun. We had dropped the girls off at my parents house, so about 8:30 we picked them up and drove back home to Niles . Nice simple night, nothing flashy and a good time.

Old Hat...the name of the brewery.
Cool sign hanging in the pub.
My handsome man.
Jenn and Jason, aren't they cute together?
This man, sorry sir I have forgotten your name, but he was nice and was asking me questions.....My camera tends to get lots of questions, I told him I would take a picture of him and put it on my blog. So here you are....I hope you see it. :)

Play-Date with Dean and Susan.

We had so much fun on Friday with our new friends Dean and Susan. They came over for a fun play-date. We have been trying to do one for months now, and we finally did it. I sure hope we can try for one again soon!

I met Susan at the gym and we hit it off right away. What a wonderful person she is. She has three beautiful kids and is one awesome mom! We started the gym the same week, and were going though the issues of our kids not wanting to stay in the daycare. But both of them have grown to love it in there now. Thank-goodness!

Friday, was fun, it was a perfect day for a play-date, the weather was SO nice, I think it made it to the low 70's! We made grilled cheese sandwich's for the kids and for us. We sat and let the kids play and we chatted while we drank our coffee. It was so nice to just learn more about each other, our parenting styles and lifestyles.

The kids weren't to sure of each other at first, but they soon grew on each other and played quite well. I don't think Amelia was used to having a boy around, but now she talks about him and wants to have have over to play again. It's so cute, Susan call Dean, Deano. Amelia calls him that too. So now when she talks about him, it's Deano this Deano that. It's quite cute.

Climbing the tree out back.
Susan and Dean.Dean riding the bike.
Isn't he handsome?
Amelia not to sure about everything.....boys are funny, mama!!
Look at him....such a cutie!
He was so good...here he is drawing with the chalk.
Amelia, hanging out.

Norah eventually woke up from a nap, but it was after Dean left. We went back out to play more, the girls loved the beautiful weather!

My Weekend With the LaBre's & My Work for DTN Management..

I have been Very MIA lately. Sorry. I have been just so busy with the girls, and everyday life that I haven't posted any photos. My aunt even sent me an e-mail to make sure I was alright.

To let you all know, I'm doing quite well actually. I had a great weekend "off" two weekends ago. I went up to East Lansing to visit one of my best friends in the whole world, Stacy. Her and her hubby moved there for him to go to Law School at Michigan State. I miss them horribly, but they will be moving back once his studies are completed. Then I will be able to say I have a big shot lawyer as a friend. :)

Anyway, we had a blast! I arrived in town on Friday afternoon and was there until Sunday afternoon. First off, upon my arrival in town I did some "work". I shot pictures for Stacy's boss....I took some pictures of the apartment models at the complex they work for. It was a lot of fun, and I learned quite a bit in the process. I took almost 1000 pictures...here are just a few that I did. I know you don't want to see all 1000!

That weekend was nice because I was able to hang out with Stacy and Relax. No kids to deal with, just me. It was VERY weird, but super nice. I called the girls numerous times throughout the day. I know, but I'm never away from them that long!

Rob studies EVERY day! He took Friday night off and we all ate pizza, drank wine and hung out. It was so fun. Rob is a great guy and I love that he really makes Stacy so happy. Saturday we woke up and drank coffee, Rob made us breakfast and we all just relaxed. Once Rob headed out to the library, Stacy and I headed into town. We went to this really cool pet shop, it had such beautiful Birds and fish. It was quite a place.

We then drove around downtown Lansing, and checked out the Capital Building. It was kind of a bummer because It closed at 4:00 and we arrived at 4:15. Oh well. We wandered outside around the grounds a bit and headed out. It was cold out that day, so we didn't spend to much time, but I was able to snap a few photos. We also came across some amazing old churches, they were beautiful and had some super cool doors on the front of them.

I have to show off my girl Stacy!!
