Anyway, we couldn't let her have any food or drink after Midnight and then we had to be in South Bend by 7am. Early for us! We checked in and then the nurse brought us back. She cried a few times because the nurse was poking her and she just didn't like it. Then when they took her from us and brought her back for the surgery, she SCREAMED! My poor baby. I cried too. We went and waited in the waiting room and after about 10 minutes they came and told us they were done. She did have a blockage in both eyes and they just put a small probe in there to open the ducts up. Then about 5 minutes later they came and told us that she was awake and ready to see us. She was doing pretty well...just a little confused and groggy.......oh and Very hungry!
We put her jammies back on her and came home and fed her. Food made her Very happy! She ate it right up then got down and played for quite some time....she was even dancing a bit. She seems to be doing quite well.
We have drops to put in her eyes four times a day for a week and she should be good to go!
Here are a few photos from this morning.
In the waiting room....waiting. She wasn't really awake quite yet.
Cuddling with mama, waiting to go back for surgery.....not really happy about being up so early and not eating yet.
Her little foot with her name band on it
