Our Weeked of Relaxation and Fun.

We basically relaxed most of the weekend. Bryan had to work, so the girls and I were on our own. The weather was a bit chilly, but we tried to make the best of it. With Amelia being sick, we tried to keep her bundled up and warm. However, even though she was sick, I thought some fresh air would be good for her. When Bryan came home from work on Saturday evening, we all went down to the school and let the girls play on the playground equipment. Amelia really likes this place....she calls it the big park. It's cute. Here is our fun from our trip to "the big park" or well, Ballard school.

They really like the tunnel they can crawl through.

Norah was having a good time too.

My handsome Husband, watching his girls in action.
Come on daddy....lets go this way!
Once we came home, we had to do baths. The girls were so cute in the tub together...they were hugging and loving each other.

Today, Sunday the girls and I decided to drive up to my moms for the day. Hang out with her and play out in her yard. They have quite a few acres right there at the house, so we went out for a walk and to fly the kite. I had the camera, and I shot a few good pictures.

My parents have this cabin out behind the house....it's the "Hunting cabin", during deer hunting season, it's full of hunters.....beer and tons of stories.
The ditch next to one of the fields looked really pretty with the yellow flowers grown along the edge of the bank.
Miss Amelia....looking pretty cute.
My brothers dogs....Johnson is the in the back and Sully is the one in the front.
Sully.
I really like this one of Amelia....she looks so sweet and innocent.
A shot of the fields. (My family are Celery Farmers)
Mom's tree outside her window....the flowers are quite pretty.
As we were leaving to go home, Norah found the box that they were playing in the other day. She thought she was pretty cute....Um, well, She is. :)

The Girls.

Things are going well here in the Rodgers household. It's May, with that being said we have lots of Birthday's to celebrate, so we are at my parents at least once a week. We tend to get quite busy then.

Like you all saw Norah had her eye surgery Tuesday, then Friday Amelia came down with Strep throat. Poor girl. She is still going strong though. Here are a few pictures from the past few days...from my moms house and just hanging out here at home.

My Parents bought a new washer and dryer...Here are the girls playing in the box...the perfect fort! Peeking out the "window".
Miss Belle hanging out at Grandma and Papa's house.
My silly girl hanging out helping Grandma make dinner.

My blue-eyed baby.
Stinker.
Maggie was at my parents too. She is getting so big, and she is so strong! Here are a few I took of her.....

Bathtime! She LOVES her baths!

Norah's eye Surgery

Our little Norah had to go in for a quick surgery procedure this morning. She, had to have the tear ducts in her eyes opened up. They were clogged so her eyes were icky all the time. It's a pretty normal/basic surgery, yet they had to put her to sleep for it. I as mom, was a wreck for it all!

Anyway, we couldn't let her have any food or drink after Midnight and then we had to be in South Bend by 7am. Early for us! We checked in and then the nurse brought us back. She cried a few times because the nurse was poking her and she just didn't like it. Then when they took her from us and brought her back for the surgery, she SCREAMED! My poor baby. I cried too. We went and waited in the waiting room and after about 10 minutes they came and told us they were done. She did have a blockage in both eyes and they just put a small probe in there to open the ducts up. Then about 5 minutes later they came and told us that she was awake and ready to see us. She was doing pretty well...just a little confused and groggy.......oh and Very hungry!

We put her jammies back on her and came home and fed her. Food made her Very happy! She ate it right up then got down and played for quite some time....she was even dancing a bit. She seems to be doing quite well.

We have drops to put in her eyes four times a day for a week and she should be good to go!

Here are a few photos from this morning.

In the waiting room....waiting. She wasn't really awake quite yet.
Cuddling with mama, waiting to go back for surgery.....not really happy about being up so early and not eating yet.Her little foot with her name band on it
Getting ready to head back.
Done with the Surgery. Having a little snack. Still quite groggy.
Happy Now....home and eating breakfast!

We went to this Garden center today (that is where all these photos were taken, even the ones above of the girls) and I saw these flowers and took the pictures. I thought they turned out quite pretty.

Playing out side.

It's been so nice here. It's great because we are outside so much now. The girls really enjoy it. Rhiley and Sara came over the other day and we were outside ALL day. It was a ton of fun! I shot a few pictures of them climbing the tree, it was really cute.
