Pumpkin Patch.

We went over to my uncle's house a few weeks ago and picked our pumpkins for the Fall season. He has a HUGE garden and HUNDREDS of pumpkins to pick from. We had a ton of fun picking out ones to bring home with us.

After the garden, we went to my family's farm and got some cabbage, corn and celery to take home.

After all that we headed over to my parents house for a snack and a bath before he headed back home for the day. The girls had a fun time, so here are some pictures to show off our fun!

Re cap from the summer.

Hello everyone.

I have been so busy this summer and have been a rotten blogger. I wanted to post a few photos from the past few months to show off my hubby and girls.

Thing are going well with us. Amelia is now three years old. Yes, Three! She is growing up right before our eyes! I need to schedule her 3 year appointment yet, but she is growing like a weed! She is now pretty much potty trained. She does have her accidents every so often....however, we are on panties 100% of the time. Which is fantastic I feel! She is learning new things all the time...she can do her ABC's and her counting is going quite well. She knows most of her colors now and I'm starting to work on writing with her now. It's really cute to watch her try all these new things. Also, In a few weeks we are going to be starting a bilingual program for her and Norah. They will be starting a fantastic program with some friends and will be learning some basic Spanish. I'm really excited for them. I think It's so important for them to learn, especially with their Aunt and cousin speaking Spanish, I think it will be beneficial for them in the future.

Norah Belle is really changed in the past few months. She is chatting up a storm and you have to watch what you say around her now, she likes to repeat what you say....oops. Anyway, she is quite interested in the potty now too. She likes to sit on it and then "wipe" and flush the toilet...while waving "bye bye pee pee". Yes, it's cute. She wants to wear panties, but she usually ends up peeing in them, yet, she is learning. She is getting some basic skills down now too...what animals say, we are working on colors and just talking in general. New words all the time!

Bryan is working a lot, trying to get extra cash for the holidays that are coming up. Christmas is right around the corner, we are all excited, and looking forward to the upcoming celebrations. Besides work, he tries to spend as much time with the girls and me. He "tries" to get together with is friends for a game of golf, but it doesn't happen as much as it should or would like. He has been working on projects around the house and that does keep him busy too.

I have been keeping busy with the girls during the week...we still enjoy going to Story time on Wednesdays at the Library, but we have now joined this fantastic playgroup. We have gone on a few trips, one to a pumpkin patch/apple picking, to a dairy farm and we have gone to a few playgroups that we have done various projects.....apple stamping, hat making and just playtime. The girls love it, and I do too. The ladies (moms) I have met, are awesome! I have this new fun group of ladies, that I really enjoy spending time. I have also been keeping up with my book club, in which we have read some wonderful books. I really have enjoyed it. It gets me reading books I normally wouldn't read. It's fun! I have also started a Bible study here in my home. I know like I needed to add something else in my schedule....But, I knew adding God into my week, would be a positive thing. He would help me make it happen. So, with that being said, Every other Monday we meet and chat....at this point we are Reading the book of Esther, and learning about her, ourselves and much, much more.

Thanks for taking the time to read about us.

Below are just a few of the MANY pictures I have taken this summer. Hope you enjoy them.

My Cousin Garrett.

Today, I'm stepping out of the neighborhood a bit....I'm heading on over to my Cousin's neck of the woods. My cousin Garrett is a very talented person. He is an artist in many ways, he can draw, paint, sing, play a variety of different instruments, and is amazing with the video production type of thing....Sorry Garrett, I'm not sure on the proper names for it all.

Anyway, I going to be a proud cousin and wanted to show him off a bit. Check out the latest video he has done....Oh and yes, he is the one one singing.

Birthday/Memorial Weekend!

We have had one, Majorly, Full weekend! We all had a total blast, but we were on the go, go, go! Now we are all tired, tired, tired.

Let's start on Thursday. That evening after Bryan got off work we drove up to my mom and dads house to have dinner, cake and ice cream for my birthday. Mom made me cheeseburgers, waldorf salad, potato chips, chocolate cake and rootbeer floats. It was SO good! Not one calorie in all of it either! :)

We hung out a bit, I received some nice gifts from my mom and dad, Jake and Gracie, and Matt and Fee. Um, Yes, I was spoiled!

Friday. Friday was my actual Birthday....Yup, I'm the grand age of 34 now! Bryan took a Half day off from work and we went to visit the nicest family. I had met this woman, her name is Patty Yoder in the hair salon a month or so back. She looked VERY familiar to me, we chatted a bit and I kept trying to figure out how I knew her, but in the end, I think she just looks like someone else I know. Anyway, she gave me her business card and I stuck it in my purse and kept it. Patty is an animal LOVER and come to find out, she owns a beautiful home and farm in Dowagiac, I called her up and asked if we could come out for a visit. So we did.

Patty and her husband own "Stables at the Patch" which is a little slice of heaven on earth. What an amazing place! They have Horses, a donkey, two Alpaca's, a Llama, an awesome bird named Cog and One Super cool dog, Blu. Between Patty and her son in law we had the grand tour of the Beautiful farm and stables. Let me tell you, this place was grand, and gourgous! They have an indoor and outdoor riding arena, huge posh stables and hundreds of acres! A lovely pond and streem, that flows though the property.

Bryan, the girls and I had such a nice time petting and feeding the animals. I took a ton of photos to show off to you all.

After the farm, Bryan and I dropped off the girls at my moms and Bryan and I went out for drinks with some of our friends. We went to Trio' this jazz bar in South Bend. It's an awesome place! We heard some great music, and the service was great!

Saturday we lounged and hung out most of the day. So not much to share from that day. It was nice to have a day off....and no, we didn't have a hang over. We really didn't have that much to drink. It was a nice fun evening.

Sunday though however we were back on schedule. We went to a Detroit Tigers game at Comarica Park. What fun that was. I hadn't been to the new park yet. It was a blast! We went with Jake and Gracie and Matt and Fee. Mom and Dad were supposed to go....however that is a whole soap opera in it's self. We had a pretty great time anyway, and the girls loved it. It was their first

The girls got to go on a Merry-go-round ride. What a treat it was for Amelia. Norah on the other hand, HATED it! SCREAMED the whole time!

I would be scared of these faces too!
Waiting in line to go on the ride.
All of us....see, Norah isn't happy about it.
Amelia loved every moment of it! She even wanted to go again!

Um yes....do I need to say anything? I don't think so.

Monday was Memorial day. We all got up early, and went to town to watch the Memorial day Parade. We met Sara, Taylor and Rhiley there and we all watched the parade together. It was a nice morning for a parade. All in all it was a nice day all, after the parade, we just came home and relaxed and hung out. Quiet day.

Waiting for it to start.
