Miss Amelia and her Pumpkin on No Time for Flashcards.

What do you do with your kids when it's cold or raining outside? Sit around and watch tv? NO WAY! We always have a plan..... What else....but jump on over to No time for Flashcards. This is one Awesome blog that we regularly visit. Allie has the best ideas and Amelia always has tons of fun when we do one of the projects from her blog.

Last week if you remember we did a project from there, however we didn't have all the supplies, so we made a pumpkin instead of the Ghost that she featured. Well Allie like the idea and featured the project on her site today. My little Amelia's picture and project is on there today. So take a peek and head on over to No time for flashcards...check out Amelia and all the other wonderful ideas Allie has.

Chiropractic Care...My Article

If any of you know know me at all, you know I'm always talking about how I take my girls to the chiropractor. Word got out and people started to ask me questions about it. So much that Erin over at The Mom Buzz asked me to write an article on it. She has featured the article on her Blog today....I'm famous!! No, not really, but it's pretty neat to share my story with so many people out there in the blog world. Maybe I can make a small difference in someone's life. I know some of you think that Chiropractic care is silly and not worth it, but I feel different.

Go on over and take a look at my Article. I hope you like it.

Pee Pee on the Potty!

Amelia has big news to share! She has been wearing big girl panties and also going potty on the toilet a lot lately. Each time she goes on the potty she gets a sticker for her shirt also one for her chart (she picks them out herself) She has finally filled up a chart! Now that she has filled her chart she gets to go to the store and pick out a new toy or whatever she wants. We will go sometime this week and let her pick something out.

However, she still isn't potty trained all the way yet...but we are working on it. She likes to go on the toilet when I ask her if she has to go, (that is if she really does have to go) But she won't just TELL me if she has to go. Slowly but surely. She will do it soon I'm sure.

Yippee for my big girl!!

Her full chart.
Showing off her chart
Quite proud!

The following are just a couple cute shots. I wanted to share them. Isn't she just the cutest?

Norah. Big Smile.

I was taking some pictures yesterday morning of Norah and I had to share them. The smile will brighten your day.

It's Red! The Wall Is QUITE Red.

I keep forgetting to blog about this:

Bryan was super busy while we were gone last weekend. He painted an accent wall in our living room. It's quite red! It looks really nice, but took some time to get used to. We need to get some pictures on the wall yet....and also get some new drapes. I'm going to replace the white sheer with Red sheer, Just to balance the room off a little.

Here are some photos of our living room.

We really need pictures on the wall and it won't be so startling! I think I may blow up some of the photos I have taken and put them up there.
View from the other side of the room.

The white sheers in the big window on the right of the photo here will be replaced with Red.....they are usually open, but for some reason I have them closed today.....

Safe Trick or Treat....Downtown.

Today was the local "Safe" Trick or Treat and costume contest in town. It was put on by our Library. It was so fun and the girls had a ball.

We started off at the Library and the girls were entered into the costume contest, No we didn't win, but Amelia was a bag lady (we put that shopping cart to use) and Norah was a sock Monkey. They had games and other fun things going on, and also the costume contest.

Then after the contest, from 4:00-5:00 they had the safe trick or treat. The kids could go trick or treating to all the local downtown shops. It was nice, but very crowded! TONS of kids! Amelia did pretty well at the trick or treat part too, she just kept saying, "Tick Teet" It was super cute. She figured it all out pretty quickly and did get some candy. Then after we were done we let her have a sucker....yes only one, because after the one sucker she was bouncing off the walls!! No more candy this evening!

Here are a few photos from our day.

Rhiley was with us too, She was Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz.

Spinning Class.....Introduction.....Hell on a bike.

Today at the Gym I decided to take a spinning class. What on earth was I thinking? !

First of all for those of you who don't have any clue to what spinning is, I decided to look up the definition, and what I found was:

Spinning class information click here.

In other words.....hell on a bike for 45 minutes. :)

The class was tough.....However, It was Exactly what I needed to give me that extra kick. I actually did like the class, and it really wasn't hell, I swear. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to keep up with the others in the class, that is why I hadn't tried the class before now. But to my surprise, It was nice because you can do it at your own pace. Everyone is different, and to fit your own personal needs you can sit down or release some of the tension to tone it down, or stand and pedal faster to Up your own workout a bit. Since I was a new-bee I was able to sit down when I couldn't keep up with some of the veterans that were in there.

I did get one heck of a great work out today, however I'm sure I will be sore tomorrow and well so will my Butt! I need a better seat for my bum. OUCH! I will be going back to the class, they have it every Tuesday and Thursday, so I will be going back Tuesday for some more punishment.

Wish me luck!

Our Bag Ladies in Training.

We don't have many days that are going to be nice out....so we went outside for a little bit today. Sara and Rhiley were over, and both girls had their shopping carts so we went for a walk around the block and I shot some super cute pictures of the girls. The fall colors and the cute girls made for some great pictures I must say. I must share them with you.

Our little bag ladies.
What a cute bag lady.
Leaves!
I know you would think Rhiley was one of my girls by how many pictures I take of her. But Look at that cute face, how can you not want to take pictures of it?
Beautiful...Just beautiful. This should be framed.
Rhiley liked the leaves too.
Norah just hung out in her stoller....maxin' and relaxin'.

This picture is of the girls while I was singing "The Wheels on the Bus"....they love that song.
Norah, hanging out in her Jumper.....Jump, Jump, Jump. She Really likes to be in this thing all of the sudden. She just smiles and laughs when she is in it.

Norah is Ten Months Old!

My Girl is really growing so much each month. She is Now Ten months old! She is pulling herself up all the time and cruising along the couch and everything else. She has Five Teeth, and eats just about everything she can get in her little paws on. She TRIES to copy everything Amelia does and wants to be near her all the time Crawling to catch up with her from room to room. It's super cute, however, Amelia doesn't always think so. Sometimes she pushes her away and says "No Sissy!" Poor Norah, she looks so hurt. But she is growing and soon will be able to keep right up with Amelia. Here is her Ten month couch picture. Look at that sweet face.

Curly Q Cuties ~ Great Give-Away!

I was on Ohana Mama today and saw the cutest thing. Sarah interviewed Stephanie Estrin from Curly Q Cuties.....these absolutely adorable stuffed toys. Kids can design their own little monster designs. What fun! My two year old daughter even had fun doing it. She picked out one that is Pink Marmalade body with baby blue large googly eyes, red fang lips mouth, and purple flower belly. Actually we designed quite a few, but this is the final one she liked the best. Maybe I will have to get it for her for Christmas.

I just had to rave about these, since Amelia enjoyed it so much I figured many others might too. So zoom on over to Curly Q Cuties or click on Sarah's site Ohana Mama and you will find a link there. Also you can sign up for the free give away to win a monster for yourself or your little one.

Running on Empty on a Wonderfully Sunny Day!

Yes, I am doing just that today. I'm tired yet can't sit still. I feel I need to get things done today. Some days I just get tired of my dirty house and feel it needs to be cleaned...and not just picked up but actually cleaned. However,My little ones are napping and I thought I would take a time out for a blog post.

It's Tuesday, it's not the beginning of the week anymore yet it's not half over either.....just waiting for the weekend. However, the sun and sky is beautiful today! It's a chilly, crisp fall day that we should be out enjoying, because the snow will be falling soon and I won't want to be outside in that. But with sleeping babies, mommy is enjoying the solitude. Whats the old saying, Let sleeping babes lay...or something along those lines. So I do just that. I sit here with my coffee and cookie...yes, fat, nasty, sugar cookie with frosting and sprinkles....Yes, I said sprinkles. YUM! I sit here typing away and realizing how wonderful it is to have my girls, yet how wonderful it is when they sleep....sleep the afternoon away.

Opps....I'm done for, Solitude over......I hear Norah jabbering away in there. Must go get her now. Post now over.

Have a wonderful day!

Girls Weekend!

We had our Annual Girls Weekend trip this weekend. Once a year I get together with my Dads side of the family....it's with my Grandma, my mom, my Aunt Marcia, Aunt Sue, Aunt Diane, my cousins....Katy, Liam, Becky, Baylee, My sister in laws Gracie and Felicity and usually my cousin Bonnie and Tara but they weren't able to come this year. It's all Girls, (except for Liam because he is a baby).

We all decided this year we would rent a house. We picked a house in Saugatuck Michigan, which is right on Lake Michigan....in fact, I thought the house we rented was right on the lake but it ended up not being that....it was a block away. Even though, it was a beautiful home and absolutely HUGE! It slept 20 people so we all had our own little bedroom and bathroom. It was nice.

We Checked in on Friday afternoon and spent the whole weekend there. We basically relaxed and hung out. They had a hot tub, so a few of us put that to use, they had a huge fireplace that I sat my butt in front of a lot! So relaxing! A few people just sat a watched movies and of course we ATE A TON! TONS OF YUMMY TREATS! Everyone brought food so we had a ton of food to eat. We did go out to lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We did a little shopping on Saturday afternoon too. We didn't buy much but I did get Amelia a little toy shopping cart. She LOVED it. She pushed that thing all over Saugatuck. It was so cute.

We Also walked down to the beach and walked along there a little. I wish I could live right on Lake Michigan. What a wonderful thing that would be. I just adore the lake....It's beautiful and calming and so powerful all in one.

Here are some pictures of the weekend for you to all see.

We had a wonderful time, we are talking about renting a place again next year again. It was just so nice to spend time with my family. We all live all over the State and with all of our busy lives we just don't get a chance to see each other enough, so it's nice to just take time out and spend a weekend together. Renting the house was fun too, it was so fun to be able to hang out and have space to move. We usually cram into someones house...sleeping on couches and the floor. So the space was super nice.

Thanks to all of you ladies for coming this weekend. It was a great time!

Beach time is relax time.

Also here is the site of the house we rented if anyone is interested.
