It's Getting Cold Outside.

It's getting chilly already! We have had to pull out our jackets, long pants and closed toed shoes. I'm sure not ready for this. Bundling up the girls really can be a pain in the butt. I think of that part in the film The Christmas Story when Ralph's little brother is getting all bundled up for school...." I can't move my arms'" he yelps. His mom say's "Put your arms down when you get to school". I laugh every time. But I'm not ready to do that to my girls yet.

The girls both have small colds. Norah has this cough...nothing bad, but something we are going to have to give her some drops for...I think the change in the weather is getting her. She is fine during the day, but once bedtime comes, she coughs. Her Doctor said to put a vaporizer in her room and give her the drops.

Amelia voice is just Horse....it's kind of funny. Her voice is squeaky. The doctor said she will benefit from the vaporizer too. So I think they will both be on the mend soon. I may try to get them into the chiropractor soon.

Cold weather brings on needed new shoes too. We really need to get the girls new shoes. Yes, I'm THAT mom who wants their shoes to coordinate with their outfits. We did pick up a pair for Amelia, but they are brown and pink....I need to get her some new black ones and also something else besides the brown and pink....just brown.

Norah hates shoes, unlike Amelia I haven't really put shoes on Norah much. So now that it's getting cold it's a challenge. She squishes up her toes and won't let me put them on her. Stinker.

My mom bought Amelia some Leg warmers....oh my goodness does she look cute in them. I love it! She isn't quite sure what to think of them, but at least they will keep her little legs warmer in this change of season.

Well off to close up the house and put down some of the storm windows to keep it warmer in here...not ready to actually turn the heat on yet.
