Update on Us.

Hello everyone

We have been quite busy! I have hardly had time to take my own photos lately....much less send them off to show off.

First of all a little update. We had Norah's well visit yesterday, she is doing quite well. She is quite small for her age and running in the twentieth percentile, but doing quite well. She is just a petite little thing. She received her shots, which I hate doing, and Amelia also received her chicken pox vaccine too.

I have started working with Cathy quite a bit, and we have two weddings in a row....basically the next two weekends. I'm really looking forward to it. What fun!

The girls went to my mom and dads for the night and we aquired a few new family members. Two fish. Their names are Nemo and Fluffy. Yes, fluffy is the fish's name, Amelia named it. Anyway, it's pretty fun having fish. However, the sad thing is, Nemo has already gone to Fishy heaven. I know, we are bad fish owners. We have told Amelia about it and she was a bit sad, but once I told her we can get a new fish she was ok with the whole thing.
Here are the Fish...

Fluffy is the white fish
Here is Nemo...R.I.P Nemo.

Last Friday Bryan took the day off and we had a family fun day and went to the zoo. What a wonderful day we had. The weather was perfect and the girls loved it! Bryan packed us a fantastic lunch and we ate it in the park outside of the zoo. Once lunch was over we went into the zoo. The girls enjoyed themselves very much. We saw Monkey's, Lions, Tigers, and so much more. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Walking into the zoo.
She was a bit scared....see how close that tiger is!
The Peacock was hiding is some greens...Amelia pointed him out.
She pointed out EVERYTHING!
Cool girl!
The Loin was so pretty!
We still love spending time with our Tisdale family....Sara, Rhiley and Taylor are around with us a lot. It's nice to have good friends close by. Here are a few cute pictures I took of Rhiley the other day when she was over.

Rhiley with her Pinky Pig...yes, potty training here.
Isn't she just super cute?!

I am still always taking tons of photos of flowers and just pretty things I see. Here are a few of my latest shots I have taken.

I went over to my friend Deana's house one evening and had fun taking pictures of her babies......Aren't they cute?

Our Family Ducky and Park Night

The other night we thought it would be fun to bring the girls down to a local farm store where they have baby Chicks, ducks and turkey's. The girls LOVED it. We hung out there for quite some time, looking, petting and watching the babies. The man that worked there even let us pet a few of them. Norah and Amelia thought that was pretty neat. We had a snack of some popcorn (that they give you for free there) and headed on our way.

After our visit with the baby animals we picked up some dinner and went to play at the park on the swings and slides. We had some left over popcorn so we fed the ducks while were were there too. What a nice night it was for us. All in all we spend less than $6.00 and had an amazing evening as a family.

Easter Holiday

We had a pretty great Easter this year. We colored Easter eggs, we went to a few Egg Hunts and just enjoyed ourselves. The girls were so wide-eyed this year about the eggs, candy and fun. They loved it all! They were a bit nervous and cried when we actually saw the Easter bunny one day. However, once he brought them baskets full of treats, they say the bunny is a pretty cool guy now.

I did make sure I told Amelia the story of how Jesus died on the cross and Rose three days later. She seems to listen and try to understand, but I know she doesn't quite get it yet. But I know if we tell her over and over, she will understand soon enough. I want her to understand the reason for celebrating Easter. It's just not candy, eggs and a big bunny.

Here is some of our fun while we decorated our eggs a few nights before Easter. Norah even got in on it....she LOVED it, well both of them did.

Look at that happy face!
That face too.

Our Finished eggs.
The night before Eater, we set out our eggs, our baskets and some carrots for the Easter Bunny. As you can see, he ate on his carrots and he filled the baskets quite nicely.

The next morning the girls actually woke up early, they found their baskets and the eggs that were hidden throughout the house.

Look, she found her basket!
Norah loved her new book.
They both think the lanterns are pretty neat. Amelia checking them out.
Yippee, Bubbles!
Her First Barbie doll.
After we found the baskets and had fun with that, we got dressed and went to my mom and dads for the day. The Easter bunny had made a stop there too. The girls had an Egg hunt there too and found plastic eggs full of candy and treats.

We had a fantastic ham dinner and some very tasty pies. To much candy and drinks made the day tons of fun!

We had a house full too, which really was so nice. My Grandma and Grandpa, my Aunt Marcia and Uncle Doug, My brothers and their families. Sara, Taylor and Rhiley also joined us this year, it was nice to have the extra friends along with us for the day.

A family photo...Not the best, however it is what it is. :)
Miss Norah. The dress she has on was mine from when I was her age. I have saved it for all these years. Isn't it sweet? She isn't feeling that well....teething.

My brother Jake, Gracie and Maggie. Aren't they a beautiful family?!
Happy girls.
My Grandma Doris, Trying to get a smile out of Norah.
Cute, but still no smile.
My moms pretty flowers for the table.
Miss Belle checking things out.

After dinner, we all went for a walk out back in the woods. The guys went out and hit golf balls and we joined them after we had the house picked up. Here are a few from then.
