I did make sure I told Amelia the story of how Jesus died on the cross and Rose three days later. She seems to listen and try to understand, but I know she doesn't quite get it yet. But I know if we tell her over and over, she will understand soon enough. I want her to understand the reason for celebrating Easter. It's just not candy, eggs and a big bunny.
Here is some of our fun while we decorated our eggs a few nights before Easter. Norah even got in on it....she LOVED it, well both of them did.
Look at that happy face!

The night before Eater, we set out our eggs, our baskets and some carrots for the Easter Bunny. As you can see, he ate on his carrots and he filled the baskets quite nicely.

The next morning the girls actually woke up early, they found their baskets and the eggs that were hidden throughout the house.
After we found the baskets and had fun with that, we got dressed and went to my mom and dads for the day. The Easter bunny had made a stop there too. The girls had an Egg hunt there too and found plastic eggs full of candy and treats. We had a fantastic ham dinner and some very tasty pies. To much candy and drinks made the day tons of fun!
We had a house full too, which really was so nice. My Grandma and Grandpa, my Aunt Marcia and Uncle Doug, My brothers and their families. Sara, Taylor and Rhiley also joined us this year, it was nice to have the extra friends along with us for the day.
A family photo...Not the best, however it is what it is. :)
Miss Norah. The dress she has on was mine from when I was her age. I have saved it for all these years. Isn't it sweet? She isn't feeling that well....teething.
After dinner, we all went for a walk out back in the woods. The guys went out and hit golf balls and we joined them after we had the house picked up. Here are a few from then.Taylor showing Rhiley how to hit the ball.
